Q: "Which objects DON'T count against my storage limit?"

A: http://tinyurl.com/StorageObjects lists the things that DO count against storage limits. And here's a mostly-comprehensive list of the things that DON'T:

Account Team Members
Chatter Feed Posts
Comments
Contact Roles
Dashboards
Forecasts (I think this contradicts current documentation)
History
Opportunity Products
Opportunity Product Schedules
Opportunity Splits
Pricebooks
Pricebook Entries
Products
Profiles
Reports
Roles
Sales Team Members
Shares
Territories
Users

. . . these are the biggies. I left out a few for brevity's sake: the more obscure junction objects (like Competitors, Event Attendees, or Partners), and fiddly things (like Votes). Let me know if you think there's something big I should be including in this list.

Update 2011-11-02: I'd mistakenly included Campaign Members on the list above. Thanks to Rhonda Ross for the correction!

Update 2012-05-09: I added Chatter Feed Posts and removed Solutions. Rhonda Ross strikes again!
